I'm not familiar with the sequel but the first gamaran was an all out action fest that was entertaining to me. Alot of sword action like rurouni Kenshin.

The first Gamaran is indeed super underrated (I fear because there isn’t an anime). I’m glad that Kodansha USA is finally releasing the series, and the sequel. Now I can finally read Shura.
