Man, I'm so on the fence about picking this one up, for all the reasons brought up in the review. Superficially it sounds like a story I would enjoy, but the story elements and character interactions are keeping me away. I think I may need to wait until volume 2 comes out to see where it goes

I honestly really liked this one, and I'm eager to read more of it, more so considering that it's complete at seven volumes. I do agree that it can border on preachy, though considering all the recent events involving people trying to ban LGBT...well, anything, in America at all, to the point of deeming gender affirming care as akin to child abuse, I think that preachiness is needed since some people are still too hard-headed to learn the lessons the manga is trying to espouse.
