Never read the manga, but the anime wasn’t especially good. I don’t expect a second season.

The anime was roughly half anime-original, maybe two-thirds. Almost everything involving the rival wrestler was anime original, except for maybe the brief appearance at the start of the first episode.

14 volumes is pretty decent for a manga adapting a LN.
