I was hoping a few months back they’d at least get Fate, a seinen, for uhh adult swim (yeah I know there’s Lazarus, but it’s been like the one exception of any real quality). But these two sequels should add a little life, so good for Toonami.
And it’s not like my 33yo ass has to watch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Whoa OK, so looks like people who couldn't watch it on Hulu now have a nice opportunity to watch it. I wish Bleach: A Thousand-Year Blood War is available on Netflix since that one has a much wider reach then Hulu.

Shit, my 38 year old ass has Crunchyroll & Hulu (and doesn't watch TV) so [as] airing anything that they don't already own is completely pointless to me. But it's dope to see them still going.
*Reminisces about the good times we had though*

I'm glad Bleach is back on Toonami since I've been enjoying TYBW and eager to wait for the fourth and final part but those you haven't seen or heard of it will be in for a real treat.

Was just talking about Bleach over the last 48 hours - has the final story been any good so far?

Feels right to have Bleach back and to continue Blue Exorcist.

I think it's been pretty fantastic, especially in anime form and with all the story additions Kubo has been able to add. It's basically the story he wanted to tell but couldn't in manga form.

It is somewhat poetic that Bleach, the last anime to hold out on the dying gasps of Adult Swim Action (the non-Toonami anime block they had ever since the channel/sub-channel launched) and the first thing that was on the Toonami reboot, gets to finish out the story on there too. I guess ditto for BE too since even though it wasn't there right when the reboot started, it was one of the first to crop up. (I remember it followed SAO and my friends called it the Bryce Papenbrook Power Hour since he voiced Kirito and Rin )

Hell, I'm wondering about Daima's dub just for Netflix. Like it's been long enough guys, the series is done, I know you have it out there.

I think there is awareness that if someone is watching Toonami, then there is a very good chance they were around for those things too. Aside from self-produced shows, they seem to have settled fully into continuing anime that aired on the channel at some point before.

incorrect. considering that my hero academia showed on AS a while back, not to mentioned dragon ball super as well as one piece dressrossa arc, i can also see these series getting a toonami broadcast. especially solo leveling which is uber popular in the US right now!

| MHA was before the Crunchyroll monopoly and Toonami still hasn't aired the most recent seasons. DB Super and One Piece were both licensed directly from Toei and not Crunchyroll. Toonami has said before Crunchyroll is blocking them from obtaining new shows.

i kinda doubt that.
i have yet to see any official public statement from toonami or adult swim on their social media channels about that, and to be frank, no company that desire to obtain new shows from them would actually call out an anime studio in a public statement that their deliberately blocking them from obtaining any new anime!
i mean think about it!
its just asking to get blacklisted so it would not make any sense business wise for adult swim to call out CR publicly like that.
after all, CR is not like a cable company where channels that are own by their parent companies call out a cable company publicly whenever they get into a broadcast dispute year after year!
