Well, looks like Takamine is going to be the cumulative bottomfeeder for the ranked shows. No surprise there. Will she keep her spot, or will another show end up worse? Curious if we'll get a season recap from anyone, or if all the staff are avoiding it.

I'm confused as to why "Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers (TV)" is not even listed on this on this ranking despite the fact that it is an option in the "Your Score" page.

So the only ones from the Preview Guide that didn't get enough votes to make the rankings were:
- #COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT
- Classic Stars
- Devil May Cry
- Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers
- Maebashi Witches
- Moonrise
- Yandere Dark Elf
I don't think Moonrise was eligible, and maybe not Devil May Cry either.
On another note, happy as I am to see The Apothecary Diaries continuing to excel, I'm surprised the one episode out of these six to make the #1 spot on the weekly episode rankings was "The Dancing Ghost" (Lishu's episode). Not that it's a weaker episode by any means -- in particular, it has some quality Aggressive Jinshi content, in the scene where he calls Maomao by name for the first time and the talking-to he gives Lishu's former head lady-in-waiting -- but it wouldn't have been my first guess. Maybe I would've guessed "Festering Resentment", which got beaten out by Kowloon episode 4, the only one from that series to hit #1 so far.
(The latest TAD episode currently has the highest community score of this cour, at 4.6 -- I'm pretty sure it's the first episode of the series with zero Aoi Yuuki, but the tradeoff is some great Jinshi content.)
Also, that is a hell of a drop for Lazarus in the weekly. Whoof.

I have a feeling one of 'em will volunteer to shotgun every episode at the end of the season in order to properly explain how worst it is in the seasonal round-up, a la what I presume Lucas did with NEET Kunoichi last season.
I concur with Shay Guy that Lazarus's drop is deserving of all the oofs. I gotta wonder how bad episode 6 was if the HAAAARDCOOOORE episode 5 was the technical better of the two...

Not enough love for Catch Me at the Ballpark!, IMO. True, the animation isn't great, and a SOL semi-comedy isn't everyone's cuppa, but it has good characters, and it has a lot of heart.

With you there! Much like Acro Trip from a few seasons back, with its serviceable animation being carried by loveable characters and good writing. It's a scrappy underdog with a lot of charm, and I'm cheering for it.

I'd say I preferred Lazarus episode 6 over 5, but I wouldn't say they were good either. Honestly, at this point I'm still watching Lazarus just to know how the story is going to end, I'm hoping that the quality of the episodes will improve, but we're already half way through the show and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, the only episode I fully enjoyed was the fourth one and the rest feels like pure filler. The only highlights of Lazarus are some of the animation in the fighting and chase scenes and its soundtrack, things that could be enjoyed just by watching some clips on YouTube.

Also some really bad characters, like Kotaro, one of the most dull guys of the season

I always forget to put in my episode ratings....
Anyway, I don't think this is a particularly strong season. Apothecary, GQuuuuuuX and Kowloon are the only shows I'm following, of which I'd say Gundam is probably doing the best lately, though they're all hovering closer to that 4/5 average than a 5/5.
