Do they really need vocal artists to do the singing? All the seiyuu can actually sing, we know Akarin and Ayaneru can definitely sing.
Not really sure what to make of this but Maruto scripting makes me think it might be at least halfway interesting. I can already smell a bunch of interteam relationship drama. |

I imagine a goal of the project (and what convinced Aniplex and Sony to greenlight an original) is to have the band actually tour. So they need singers who can do that schedule |

Will they sing while fighting like in Symphogear/Princession or just do concerts then fight...
Still, I like that it's a mixed genders group which is kinda rare. And hidari designs are always great.
Yep, I'd think so. I followed a project that did the same thing; big name seiyuu's for the voice acting but completely different people for the singing voices. Made it way easier for them to do concerts and events. Sometimes the VAs would come along, like for a live reading section, but you didn't need everyone, just a couple of them. (That cast was way bigger than this one though). |
