Good times for Guilty Gear fans - sometimes, when a guest character like this shows up, it's hard to be excited for them until you get gameplay footage, but then I instantly know they're not gonna mesh too well with my playstyle the moment it finally arrives. Noctis was a bit of a hard read on Tekken, but the new FF16 guy is a definitive no for me on the latest Tekken game, for example.
Immediately, Lucy's footage reminds me of one of the Under Night characters I really like. Was wondering how even they were gonna translate a Netrunner to Strive's gameplay, and that smart little bit of Cyberpunk UI that pops up is the icing on the cake (in spite of the fact the 2077 game needed more net/virtual stuff instead of Braindancing). I'm really looking forward to learning up some moves with her. |
