I recently came across a YouTube channel titled Anime Vault, which claims to be an official channel for streaming anime. https://www.youtube.com/@OfficialAnimeVault/videos
They seem to be providing full episodes of Riding Bean and Megazone 23, which I thought were with AnimEigo, at least per their recent successful Kickstarter campaigns. (It could be that AnimEigo just has the rights for physical releases and these guys have the streaming rights, somehow?) They seem to be connected to something called Little Dot Studios, which seems to be broadcasting network of some kind, I didn't see anything on their website about anime. https://www.littledotstudios.com/en-us/ I tried digging through the Encyclopedia here on ANN, but found nothing about them. More web searching didn't seem to reveal anything else useful (I was using DuckDuckGo, for what it's worth). Their YouTube Channel certainly seems professional, but I can't seem to find anything that backs up their claims. I also know that ANN can't always keep up with every single licence that gets picked up around the world, but you would think there would be something! If anyone else who has the free time can take a look at this and let me know, I would appreciate it. I would also appreciate any tools or methods to help determine whether or not a channel or website is legitimate. I feel like it's getting hard to know these days, especially on an international level. |

Little Dot already manages the YouTube accounts for Fandor/RetroCrush/Midnight Pulp, and everything on Anime Vault I've seen on RetroCrush. I think it's official/another outlet for exposure.

Wow, thank you so much! Like I said, I had tried to do some digging around and found nothing, so that article does clarify some things for me.

Megazone 23 is also streaming on Tubi so this isn't the first time it's been streaming.
