I heard that the light novel is very popular and I'm glad it's popular enough to get an anime!
I read the manga and it was so much more interesting than I first thought. It has a very good sense of drama and tension. Especially considering how isolated the main characters were in the volumes I read. It makes good use of it's conflicts and uncomfortable themes. A real page turner despite it being slow-burn too. Would love to read the novels too should they ever get licensed. |

Wow, I fully expected this to be another "I was abandoned/cheated on/betrayed by my friends despite being the strongest" story, but the premise actually sounds interesting.
