I give it 3 weeks for Tomodachi Life to reach 1 million in sales assuming there is no shortage of psychical copies.
Also nice to see Pragmata at number 2.

Man, those Tomodachi Life numbers are insane, especially considering that it's a Switch 1 game, though the Switch 1 became the best-selling console of all time in Japan, so there's still plenty of active users.
As for Pragmata, keep in mind that Capcom delayed the launch for the Switch 2 version in Japan, probably so it wouldn't compete with Tomodachi Life, that's why it's absent from the list, though from what I've heard, it's doing pretty good on Nintendo's eshop. Now, it's Japanese sales on the PS5 are fine for a brand new IP, some pointed out that it sold less than what Resident Evil Requiem sold on the Switch 2 in Japan in its debut week, but as I said, it's a new IP, so it's that well known among the general public, and perhaps the Switch 2 version will sell around 10k in its first week, so for a new IP selling around 50k in Japan these days I think it's okay.

It was going against Tomodachi Life which is huge over in Japan compared to the west, but I think this entry in the series might be it's break out moment (in the west) just like Fire Emblem Awakening was it's break out moment.

Tomodachi Life seems less like a game and more a meme simulator at least that's the impression I get. Good for those who like it but it looks completely uninteresting to me as someone who isn't into inserting a bunch of fictional characters into a Madlibs.

It just has more customization when it comes to conversations, hence the memes. If I had to call it anything it would be a Sitcom Simulator with you being a director for a live show that has some form of control but not always.
