The phrase "Some specifications differ from the original version." can mean a lot of things, it's quite vague. The Japanese love to use terminology (at least when translated) that likely doesn't match what it's actually referring to. I know nothing about the original game, but if I had to guess it potentially means there was something originally in the game that might have been deemed "problematic" or "questionable" that is now different in this version, likely to not run afoul of moral police which these days can get your game removed from platforms such as Steam.
Or it's something else entirely, that's just how vague it is and how loose the terminology can be.

The original had minor touch screen elements on the 3DS and Vita for the kissing scenes. All very pg in terms of subject matter but those obviously have to be changed slightly to function outside those handhelds.
I'm genuinely interested in this. You'd think that a game where you play a guy who can power up party members via kissing would restrict that to hetrosexual pairings but no! There are actually endings with male party members. No idea if the writing is any good as I cant read Japanese but I'm cautiously optimistic about the English release

Jokes aside, that's probably it.
