Just saw this on TRSI's website:
Similar to last year's Geneon sale, TRSI is having another massive sale, this time for ADV titles. Just like the Geneon sale, get 10 ADV titles for $50 (Use coupon code abundance10) or get 25 ADV titles for $100 (Use coupon code abundance25). The sales ends on March 11, 2007. So if there are certain ADV titles you plan on buying but haven't bought yet (like, say, Princess Tutu  ) this is your best chance to grab them at a great price.

Um, I mean.. Holy Crap! And I was just waiting to read todays weekly specials before I went to sleep. This, I think, is better. And yes Princess Tutu is on my list. Thanks for the heads up! |

This is an awesome sale! I just might buy all of Princess Tutu and some extra stuff from ADV to fill out the 10 for $50 offer. Although the 25 for $100 is very tempting ....

Just completed my first 25 order......I hope they don't add stuff again to this list like with Geneon that sucked, I had just received my first order and then they put my fighting spirit. Oh well thanks Rightstuf, your making me broke.

Well, i was hoping we would get a traditional studio sale, but since a few more recent titles were included, this worked out well.
With this sale, I was able to get the rest of Princess Tutu (#3-6) and most of Azumanga Daioh (all but #1 and #5). I had #5 in my shopping cart, but for some reason it was cleared out and it was sold out by the time I got back to it (which I expected since there were only 2 left when I got it the first time). Needless to say, I was pissed. I got the two boxed volumes of Aura Battler Dunbine, but there weren't enough other titles I wanted to get more than that since they didn't have the last two volumes. |

Damn, I wish I'd seen this sooner I lost Princess Tutu volume 1 and Elfen Leid 1 + artbox. I only ordered volume 4 of Elfen Lied for now and filled my order with other stuff. I'm going to put up another order, maybe right before the sale ends, because I also remember they added more to the geneon sale before it ended and some stuff got mysteriously restocked. So I'll get the other 3 Elfen Lied volumes then, and maybe I'll see the artbox again too before it's done.
And I saw a few series that I had picked out of the bargain bin recently, if I had only waited a bit longer I'd of had them even cheaper. But then again, I might have lost some of them to being sold out. Anyway whatever, great sale! Although there is not a lot left that I want and I've been saving money for a big studio sale, I hope they do add more items, otherwise it'll be hard to fill even a 10 item order the next time just to get the other 3 Elfen Lied disks. Not that there isn't a lot of great stuff, just that most of the other stuff that I'd want I already have. |

Ordered all of Cromartie High School w/ the artbox and all of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (also w/ the artbox) as well as a couple of extra things. I hope that they add more stuff later on like they did with the Geneon sale a while back.

This is simply horrible since, yet again, I will be severely ripping off a company. I don't have the extra money today but when I get my paycheck tomorrow... There are quite a few things in that sale I need to finished uncompleted collections...

Nice sale, sadly I have a lot more ADV stuff already than I did Geneon so I think I'll stop at one 25 order rather than the 4 I made last time.
Unless they add the rest of Madlax, Godannar, Mythical Detective Loki, Hakugei and Gilgamesh that is.

I just made a 25 for $100 order, but I was too slow with some of the stuff unfortunately. Princess Tutu vol 1 was out, Full Metal Panic vol 1 was out, and Azumanga Daioh vol 1 was out (not to mention vol 5 isn't even available). I did go ahead and purchase the rest of those series while I still could though. I did manage to snag all the DVDs of Ghost Stories and FMP Fumoffu (including the artbox), which is sweet.

Simply wonderful to hear that they're having another one of these, problem is I will definetly run out of room on my bookshelf for these guys.

I'm our of room on my shelf so I don't know what I am going to do with this order when all these dvds show up. Oh yea as for my order I got: Area 88 TV, Cromartie High School, Excel Saga, Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU, King of Bandit Jing (Missing volume 4), Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. SO i am looking forward to those showing up eventually, I know it's probably going to be a while. |

By the time I got to it alot of the stuff I wanted was missing a volume or two... hopefully they'll resupply so I could finish them.
for now I ended up getting Noir(missing 4,5), FMP (missing 1), cromatrie high, a tree of palme, Magical shopping arcade (missing 2,4), My beautiful girl marie, and because so many volume/movies/oav I wanted were out of stock I ended up getting Angelic layer (missing 3).
I'll probably spend more money trying to complete them than I did to get this much... Arrgh, TRSI you're making me broke too. Thank you TRSI woot. |
