Tenchi Muyo OVA 3 box set

So I just purchased this new box set from a user on www.Half.com. He has over 30,000 ratings, so no need to worry about getting scammed. One thing I am worried about, however, is that he said it will be shipped by the 19th. Thing is, it's not released until the 25th.

Is it possible to get this particular box set before the 25th, or is this perhaps a boot leg?

Products are often shipped out to retailers before the street date so it's possible. It's not unusually for brick and mortar stores to get things a week or two before when the official street date is. Regional distribution centers would get them even earlier.

I've already seen that release on store shelves, so yeah its possible. Hell, RightStuf got my Tenchi Universe brick to me almost a month before the release date. Things like that happen all the time, so no worries.

I'm quite relieved, needless to say.

I'm also a little surprised that these DVDs are being sold before the official release date. I've never heard of it happening before, but I'm sure that's due to me not keeping as up-to-date with anime as I used to.

Good to see there are still some other Tenchi fans out there, as well.

Yeah I'm going to buy the final confrontations 3 set as soon as it's at best buy, hopefully on release but if not no big deal, I have plans to go there for a few other things anyway. If it doesn't show up soon I'll probably use amazon as is normal for me.

I try to buy locally as I appreciate not having to get things shipped and I occasionally like browsing the store and actually looking at the cases/artwork up close before purchase. I figure if I never buy locally I won't have that. We don't have any local anime shops so best buy is about as close as I can get.

Make sure you are getting the whole set and not just the tin box with the third DVD (that's what I have already).
