According to Magic Box the sales of Evangelion 2 for PS2 on it's first day (November 20) was 79,685 units, not a bad debut.
To show how impressive that is, here are the other numbers for that day: 01. Evangelion 2: Shinseiki Evangelions (PS2, Bandai) - 79,685 units 02. Pro Baseball Team Tsukuru 2003 (PS2, Sega) - 18,135 units 03. Xenosaga Episode 1 Reloaded (PS2, Namco) - 9,438 units 04. The Getaway (PS2, Capcom) - 9,199 units 05. Time Crisis 3 (PS2, Namco) - 4,062 units 06. Kumauta (PS2, Sony) - 3,451 units 07. Project Gotham Racing 2 (XB, Microsoft) - 3,072 units 08. Magatama (XB, Microsoft) - 2,617 units 09. Hissatsu Pachinko Station V8 (PS2, Sunsoft) - 2,389 units 10. Digi Charat Fantasy: Excellent (PS2, Broccoli) - 2,114 units 11. Time Crisis 3 + GunCon 2 Bundle (PS2, Namco) - 1,720 units 12. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (GC, Bandai) - 1,638 units 13. Xbox Platinum Bundle Pack (XB, Microsoft) - 1,513 units 14. Simple 2000 Vol. 41 The Volleyball (PS2, D3 Publisher) - 1,314 units 15. I can only hope that Bandai Games would release this (or any other EVA game) over here. I'm tired of only having Gundam games to turn to get my piloting a giant robot fix.
EDIT: I also want them to release this RahXephon game here. |

Expect this game reach extremely high prices at import shops if they don't release it here. I went online and saw the N64 Evangelion game being sold for $200.

Eva is one of the most popular animes ever made (as far as I know), and it's doubtful they'll release it here, so what do you think the odds are that your average mech game (based on an anime) will be released here. |

I agree i would love to see some eva games released here (with US voice acting
 - which btw is the only dubs that i actually dont mind, the rest i hate).
But #1EvaFan is right.....doubtful if it would happen

WOOOOOO!!!! EVANGELION YEAH! WOO HOOOO!! Way to go, Hideaki Anno!!! NGE is one of the greatest shows EVER! I'm sure the game kicks some major "angel" booty, too!

There is a sim where you try to make Rei happy. I have no idea how you can possibly make her "happy."

ooohhh fill in the blank! Would the first word be... pilot, the second would be Evangelion and the last might be... save the world?
