i'm an international grad student, doing my graduate paper on investing in manga. i am from Thailand and really love manga. (i own more than 6,500 issues in Thai)
I really need to know this kind of information about manga. where can i find them? - how many copies of manga has been publish in US. and how many has been sold? - how much does the company has to pay for manga copyright to import them to the US. - US studio such as marvel (related product), how much does it take to product one comic book (Eg. super hero comic) i don't know anywhere to go so please help me. (this topic may not be anwered, but i wholeheartedly Thank the one who post an answer) |

From what I understand, the anime/manga industries are really hush-hush on number figures, be it costs of licenses or numbers sold. So you'll have a hard time finding anything, I'm afraid D=

Yes, I'm afraid information of this nature isn't going to be readily available. Anything users might provide could be inaccurate. If you can't get it from the industry themselves then you're probably not going to get it all I'm afraid.
