I stopped by my local Best Buy this morning expecting to find and possibly pick up the following titles:

- The Big O II DVD 1
- s-CRY-ed DVD 4
- Evangelion OST 1
- FLCL OST 1

And they didn't have a single one of them. I asked a clerk to check their computer registry database, and no Best Buy stores in the area had gotten any in, either. I just now checked RightStuf.com, SamGoody.com and BestBuy.com and they all have them listed for "preorder" or "on backorder.

What's going on? Was anybody else able to get these?

Even though Best Buy restocks every Tuesday it might be possible that they have not received their new shipment yet. You did go early in the morning. If you want the most acurate answer though you should call and check it with Bandai and Pioneer. It would be a little coincidental that both companies have delays in shipping their products though.

Bandai and Pioneer have been having difficulties, though I don't really know why. Neither website says anything about any delays/riots/falling off into the ocean/etc.

dvdpacific isn't having any luck with stuff that they dont already have. I don't know about Geneon, but I think Bandai is at loose ends, with all their new distributor jazz and re-releases.

Geuss you just gotta tough it out Smile

Anything that's not a bestseller, don't count on it being there on Tuesday. Try back in a few days
