I find it kind of odd that they list it as science-fiction or drama. It's really never been either of those. Sure, they're on Mars and it's the future, but the science elements are so downplayed that it barely makes a difference. As for drama, there exists none in Aria, so it's kind of false advertising. Why not just create a slice-of-life label and use that for the shows that need it?

ANN list it as a sci-fi and a drama, along with slice of life. Perhaps an update is in order. |
