If anyone should author a manga based on her success, it should be Youichi Takahashi as he's done so much to popularize football's emergence in Japan, where it has rapidly become one of the main national sports. Anyone who's been to a J-League match will know what I mean.

Unfortunately, women's domestic soccer still lags behind in Japan. Hopefully, this'll help further push the development of local competitions.
