I just finished the His and Her circumstance anime series (kare kano). I really liked it, but it leaves off in the middle of nowhere. And trsi have no plans to continue the anime. Does anyone know why they don't want to continue it? Is it a budget issue? Because the last two episodes were a different style. It's far from what I consider an anime, it wasn't even the voice actor talking. It was mostly reading off the screen. And whats up with the 2 episodes where they have real life backgrounds and the characters on pencil sticks
I'm really disappointed that trsi doesnt want to finish the anime, I was hoping I can see it to the end. Now I have to get the graphic novels.

As far as I know, there is no continuation of Kare Kano in anime form. And besides, TRSI didn't "make" Kare Kano, GAINAX did. TRSI only licensed it for U.S. production.
I haven't read the manga, so I can't tell you about that.
But yes, I wouldn't mind seeing the anime pick up where it left off.

Well, fortunatly (sure this word doesn't exist ), you've got here a really fan of Kare Kano U. Well, you want to know why is the anime stopped in the 26th chapter?? That's because from there, the story really changes, and it gets more drastical and looking more like a drama. When Gainax started doing Kare Kano's anime, they wanted a funny serie. They were bothered if it had a bit of love. However, Masami Tsuda and Gainax didn't agree how they wanted to continue the serie, Masami wanted it less funny, instead of how Gainax wanted it. That's basically all, then Gainax didn't want to continue with the anime. So, you can forgive about it.

Chapter No. 19th and can't remember the other. As I said, they wanted a funny serie
If you really enjoyed it, I recommend to you to get the graphic novels. I really love them and there're one of my favourites. However, the story really changes...
P.S: The latest tankouban of Kare Kano's manga made by TokyoPop is the 10th, isn't it??

I heard that since the manga was still being written--and still is, at this time--the director decided to just end the series instead of making a different ending.
I've also heard that there was some sort of disagreement or something preventing another series from being made, but I'm not so sure about that.
