Possible Chat Problems?

I presume this may be a problem with my computer and not necessarily the Chat itself. I get this message when I attempt to enter:

Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect

I tried entering from a different computer a couple of days ago (my school one to be exact) and the same issue popped up. Has anyone experienced this as well?
