Does anyone have any idea what Geneon's plans are for the american release of Appleseed? Are they gonna try to release it in theaters like Innocence? Or just straight to DVD? And if so then when?? I've searched for information on it like a mofo and can't find anything. Any ideas?

Apparently, the Geneon trailer disc did mention it hitting theaters. Though it didn't say much other than that. =/
I personally think it will hit theaters, but on a limited scale. But who knows?

I'm guessing it will most likely come out here early next year. Whether it's theater or DVD. Their website for it doesn't reveal anything on a release date... Infact it's just an american version of the japanese website........

They told me they planned to release it in the fourth quarter of 2004, but were working on getting as many theaters as possible. I actually anticipate it over Innocence, but hope they're both equally decent adaptations.
