Thanks for the review. I'll have to track this series down.

Possibly the review should mention that the series is on Netflix.

When I read on how the movie ended, it angered me in a way that the anime ending never did (seriously, why did they end the movie that way?). I never read the manga, so maybe that helped in how not disappointed I was in the anime. Still, I'll definitely check out this Netflix series and see what territory the anime was unable to cover!

My parents have Netflix, and I saw it while browsing for something to watch. I was happy to be able to show them the story this way (they don't care much for anime), but there's no dub =( They don't care for subtitles either.

Where I'm from, everything get's dubbed on TV, and no-one but anime watchers ever bother with subs. That was a little disappointing.
