Are they going to do all of Wandering Son, or just reprint the parts already translated?

Raging Clouds was REALLY good. I'm excited to read Lovers Of The Empire.

Wondering the same thing. I'd like to finally read it, but only if Fantagraphics is going to commit to the whole series.
Either way, good news that they're giving it another chance!

OK, nice to see Fantagraphics is setting up a imprint to publish manga and other East Asian comics/graphic novels. Good for the US market.

I really hope they completely release Wandering Son this time.

It didn’t sell sufficiently in the hardback form they had originally. This new form-factor, in a new (and expanded) market for such works might lead to sales that will justify continuing the series.
I’ve got the eight volumes they published, and will be watching this release. I do hope they sell well enough for the publisher to keep going.

A lot of good titles I'll be picking up! I've already pre-ordered On Their Frontlines, and will do the same for Wandering Cat's Cage soon. Lovers of the Empire is also a great non-manga pick to see, especially considering I just got Raging Clouds from the same author in a Fantagraphics sale.
Cautious about Wandering Son due to it never being finished in its original release, but I feel the more afforable two-in-one paperback, plus more "niche/artsy" manga having found an audience will help its sales lead to a complete series.

Hopefully the Poe Clan sequels are part of this too!

I think the hardbacks were a huge mistake and priced the book out of range for a lot of people who would have wanted to read it. Hopefully it does better this time.

I'm excited about Wandering Son! I never read it originally since it was out of print and hard to find by the time I had the budget to buy lots of manga. Making it a paperback will help a lot for people wanting to buy it this time around.

Hopefully this ends up being a full release of Wandering Son.
