It will be exactly 10 years after S1. It took a while, but it's finally dated. Now I wonder when V19 will finally come out; it's already bound to beat the previous longest wait from this series.

It hurts me soul that it's been that long. It really doesn't feel like it. Anyway. I'm beyond hyped

I've heard fans of the novels say that the first story arc (i.e., the one previously animated) is the weakest, so I'm looking forward to seeing what this new arc can do.

Can’t believe how long it’s been since the first season. Hopefully if we get future seasons they won’t take as long as I really love this series.

Is there actually going to be a v19? I kinda figured 18 finished the story well enough...

It's hard to tell, if a series as long as this one was really complete for more than 2 years, the status would have usually been officially announced as finished/complete by now; in the v18 afterword, the author only said that it was spoiler[Snow White (and by extension Ripple with whom she fused)] 's story that was over. It ends with a cliffhanger so there are still ongoing troubles.

I'm confused, is this a continuation or a reboot?

Continuation. "Restart" is the subtitle for the second and third novels. (The first series was based entirely on the first novel.)

I've been waiting for news on this one for quite a while now. This is shaping up to be a good year in anime.
