Right as the anime premiers? Seems to happen quite often. I like the show.

Often when series get Anime adaptions they are cashing out by wrapping up hte series since they got an anime

Majority of Anime adaptations are pretty much extended commercials to get people to read the original source material. They usually make one as it is still being published but yeah occasionally they do an adaptation just as the series is ending to give the original source one last bit of push in sales before it ends.
Sometimes on rare occasions if the anime adaptation is popular enough they would continue to make more of it despite the original source had completely its run but those are rare exceptions
