Sekai Project Surveys Interest in Visual Arts' Key Visual Novels

posted on by Rachel Mahoney

North American visual novel distributor Sekai Project recently posted a survey to gauge interest in visual novel games produced under Visual Arts' Key label.

Sekai first tweeted about the survey on July 30. Sekai Project told news website Siliconera that it is conducting the survey for personal research, but it may report the findings to Key.

Key has produced such visual novel franchises as Clannad, Kanon, and Air — all of which inspired anime and manga adaptations.

Sekai Project published Sakura Spirit in early July. The company is currently working with Key on localizing planetarian. The company also successfully funded Spice and Wolf author Isuna Hasekura's visual novel World End Economica and Alice in Dissonance's Fault Milestone One -directors cut-.

Update: Sekai Project published Sunrider: First Arrival, but did not localize it. The "Love in Space" company is a California-based developer.
