After its initial TV run, Chargeman Ken! fell into obscurity until 2007, when the series was released on DVD and uploaded on Nico Nico Douga and it became an Internet meme.
In 2019, CLIE produced a stage play adaptation of Chargeman Ken! that ran at Shinjuku FACE from October 31 through November 6.
