In ep 7 at 1:59, Maneo references Hatsune Miku, as she is the really popular idol who holds leeks.

Miss Monochrome's castle and her power supply were previously seen in Yui Horie's concert "Horie Yui wo Meguru Bouken III - Secret Mission Tour". Also, the 4 animals that are shown outside of the castle in episode 1 are the same animals that teamed up with Yui against Miss Monochrome in that concert.

In episode 1, When Miss Monochrome ended works in the convenience store,is a reference to a 1997 Family Mart Training video,where Yui Horie (Miss Monochrome CV) participated in those training video.

In episode 3, Miss Monochrome got a new "Evoluta" battery from her manager.This is a reference to "Panasonic Evolta" batteries. Panasonic is her favorite brand of batteries which she said herself in Horie Yui no Tenshi no Tamago radio number 565.

In episode 4, the small rabbit-like creature is Wooser from Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life.

In episode 7, at 1:58 Maneo is most likely referencing the virtual idol Hatsune Miku.

In episode 8,the podium scene where Miss Monochrome won the race,the two drivers outfit resembles the racing outfit from Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 Team and Sahara Force India F1 Team.

In episode 10, the idol group name that is KND13 is a reference to Yui Horie Official Fan Club name,that is Kuroneko Doumei (Black Cat Alliance).The idol group black cat logo also resemble to Yui Horie Kuroneko Doumei black cat logo.

In episode 10, the building that used for the handshake event is very similar with Makuhari Messe,the same building that is also used on Yui Horie live concert on March 16,2013 and March 17,2013,where Miss Monochrome also appeared on both live concert.

In episode 10, at about 01:57, the guy who recruited Miss Monochrome for arm wrestling matches after shaking her hand is a parody of the famous American actor Sylvester Stallone. In the 1987 movie “Over the Top”, Stallone played the leading role of a truck driver who participates in the nation-wide arm wrestling championship in Las Vegas.

In episode 10, at bout 02:24, the guy who recruited Miss Monochrome for free wrestling matches is a parody of the American professional wrestler Hulk Hogan.

In episode 10, at 2:12 the boxing recruiter is a parody of the famous American boxer Mike Tyson.

In Episode 12, when Maneo Manager thanked the producer for letting Miss Monochrome to appear as a passerby in a drama, it refers to her appearance in the anime Golden Time.

In episode 12, when Kikuko says she is eternally 17, this is a reference to voice actress Kikuko Inoue's popular catchphrase "I'm Kikuko Inoue, 17 years old!," although the voice actress was nearly 50 years old at the time of the program's broadcast.
