Trivia:

In Episode 1, Gotokuji Kayo, cosplays as "Jill Valentine" from the game "Biohazard 3: Last Escape/Resident Evil 3: Nemesis" during the first game of Sonokawa Momoko.

In episode 2, Gotokuji Kayo dresses again as Jill Valentine from the game Resident Evil 3

In episode 2 after Momoko and Kayo start the shooting game, they go downstairs to a shooting gallery with columns resembling the lobby part from the 1st matrix movie and do some stunts like the movie.

In episode 3, around 18:39 Momoka and Urara saw Platy/Kamo is dancing Michael Jackson's iconic moonwalk dance.

In Episode 4, during the arcade gun game, Ootori Mio appeared to Sonokawa Momoka, she muttered "Ben!" in surprise. This is a parody from "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" movie, when "Luke Skywalker" saw an apparition.

In episode 5, after Gōtokuji is struck by the Buddhist priest during Zen meditation, the otaku girl comments that "Even my father never hit me!" Amuro Ray's famous line from the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

In episode 8, around 20:44 Maya joined the others for a hot barrel bath then rolled out on a slope and fall into a river is a reference of Yuru-Yuri episode 12 scene where Akari Akaza also experienced the same sequence.

In Episode 9, Sonokawa Momoka points out that she doesn't want to face lunatics in mohawks riding customized vehicles with weapons. The pop up images clearly shows that it is a parody for the movie "Mad Max" starring "Mel Gibson". This segment of the anime is also titled: "MAD 爺婆X/ Mad Old Women X" and the setting of the survival game is in Australia (just like in the movie).

In episode 10, in the jungle, the Survival Club encounters some cat aliens that are using infrared sights and stealth camouflage are reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger's movie "Predator".

In Episode 10, during the final scene where the Survival Game Club are relaxing in a hot spring, an egg appeared and a "creature" attached on Kyodo Maya's face. This is a parody of the "Alien" movie series, egg sacs open and "Face Huggers" jump out to deliver "alien eggs" down human hosts' throats.
