Ian James Corlett who voices Mega Man in this series previously did the voice of Dr. Willy in the Captain N series.

Despite that this series was animated in Japan and was based on the highly praised Mega Man/Rock Man video game series, it didn’t get an official release within the country until 30 years after it premiered in the USA.
