Frosty's Winter Wonderland (U.S. special)

Apart from Frosty himself, the only other returning character from "Frosty the Snowman" (1969) was the traffic cop. While the other characters such as Karen and her friends, Professor Hinkle, & Hocus Pocus were never seen or referred to in this TV special.

While Jimmy Durante who narrated and sang in the original Frosty the Snowman TV special was still alive when this TV special was in production. He however didn’t reprised his role as the Narrator for this TV special, because he had already retired from show business a few years prior after suffering from a stroke and had became bonded to a wheelchair. Which is why actor Andy Griffith took his place as the voice of a completely different narrator of this TV special.
