Trivia:

Lobelia's "bicycle-stealing attack" in the final closing credits is a reference to Vittorio De Sica's famous 1948 film "Ladri di Biciclette" - "The Bicycle Thief".

At the very beginning of the episode it shows Mamas A/B/C in silhouette in an action pose similar to that of the title screen from the 1970's TV series Charlie's Angels.

In episode 16 when Aoi wears the outfit Rizel normally wears , Rizel says "you're not the real thing so you have to wear yellow", a reference to fighting games when you play as the same character as the other person.

There is a reference to Maison Ikkoku in episode 18. When Kyoko first uses the mind control helmet on Tomonori he yells out "I Love you Kyoko" similarly to the way Godai does in the early episodes of Maison Ikkoku. They then cut to a shot of Kyoko dressed as Kyoko Otonashi from Maison Ikkoku.

In episode 19 there is a reference to Steel Angel Kurumi. Rizel cosplays as Kurumi calling Tomonori "master", adding "-Desu" to the end of her sentences and mentioning that the outfit was the same one worn on Pure (Referring to the live action series). Steel Angel Kurumi and Rizelmine were both produced by m.o.e.

In episode 20 there is a reference to Mission Impossible. After Tomonori realizes that he cannot leave the house a tape begins playing explaining the situation to him with music similar to the Mission Impossible theme playing in the background. The message then self destructs in typical MI style.

There's another reference to Steel Angel Kurumi in Episode 21. Tomonori puts in a tape of it for him and Rizel to watch, mentioning that the "Pure" series moved him to tears.
