Excel Saga Director Nabeshin

In the above photo, an unnamed cosplayer at Comic World in Taiwan portrays Shinichi Watanabe, the anime director also known by his nickname "Nabeshin." Watanabe directed Excel Saga, Puni Puni Poemy, The Wallflower, and other anime projects. He has famously appeared as a character in his own works and occasionally in other works in which he was peripherally involved (Hayate the Combat Butler).

Watanabe wears his hair in an afro and almost always wears a suit similar to that of Monkey Punch's manga/anime character Lupin III in public.
