2011 Fullmetal Alchemist Film Event to Be Streamed Today

The official website for the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos anime film announced on Thursday that the Ustream service will stream a discussion event at Tokyo's Cine Libre Ikebukuro theater live on Friday at 10:15 p.m. in Japan (9:15 a.m. EDT). Director Kazuya Murata (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion assistant director), character designer and chief animation director Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers), unit director Shingo Natsume, animation director Kiyotaka Oshiyama, and producer (and head of the anime studio Bones) Masahiko Minami are slated to talk at the event.
The film opened in Japan on July 2, and Funimation announced that it licensed the film in May.
