2011 Fullmetal Alchemist Film Opens July 2 After Festival

Aniplex's official email newsletter and website for Fullmetal Alchemist revealed on Saturday that the Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi film will open in Japan on July 2, 2011. Aniplex also announced that there will be a Fullmetal Alchemist Festival 2011 event on May 22 in Tokyo. The voice cast and the musical artists behind the theme songs are slated to appear.
A short announcement at the end of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood television anime series had revealed the plans for a new film in July. A teaser trailer then confirmed the movie's title in November.
