Game from Armored Core/Demon's Souls' From Software to ship in September/October
From Software began streaming two 15-second television commercials for its Dark Souls action role-playing game on its YouTube channel on Sunday. From Software had previously developed the Armored Core franchise and Demon's Souls game, for which Dark Souls (formerly known as "Project Dark") serves as a "spiritual sequel."
From Software will release Dark Souls in Japan on September 22 (delayed twice from its original date). Namco Bandai Games will release the game in North America on October 4 and in Europe on October 7 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
