posted on by Egan Loo
Doll maker Azone International Co. Ltd. revealed on Friday that its Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] booth will feature a "Chara-Pan" capsule vending machine this Sunday. The machine will dispense capsules with underpants for 1/6-scale dolls inspired by the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime series. Each 500-yen (about US$6.50) capsule will contain one of 12 different pairs of underpants with a character printed on it, as well as another pair of "Kyubey" print underpants.
Each "Chara-Pan" capsule will also come with a random prize giveaway ticket, and winners will each receive a 1/6-scale Kyubey figure. According to Azone, there is about a 1-in-5 chance of winning the Kyubey present in the giveaway.
Azone will also sell its actual dolls at Wonder Festival, including the school uniform version of the Madoka Magica character Sayaka Miki with the bonus Kyubey figure, as well as a doll of the Aoi Yamada character from the Working'!!/Wagnaria!! Season 2 anime. Azone will pass out a 10-page character lineup catalog and new character doll postcards for free at its booth.
