New Moe-style Radar Detector/GPS to Be Released in March

Japanese car security and radar detector maker Yupiteru Corporation will release the second product in its "Lei Kirishima" line of moe-style radar detector and GPS units on March 21. The system, voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, is slated to contain over 2,000 lines of recorded dialogue and over 4,200 frames of animation.

In addition to regular GPS and radar detector functionality, the system allows users to acquire items by fulfilling certain conditions, as well as unlock new costumes and dialogue for Kirishima. A "night-drive" mode where users can invite the character on a late-night drive has also been added. The system will cost 46,800 Yen (about US$585).
