Altima, Sachika Misawa Perform New Accel World Theme Songs

Altima — the new unit composed of motsu, fripSide's sound producer sat, and Maon Kurosaki — will perform the second opening theme song "Burst the Gravity" for the Accel World television anime series. The unit's third single featuring the song will go on sale on July 25. Altima previously sang the first and second ending theme songs for the Shakugan no Shana III (Final) television anime series.
Voice actress Sachika Misawa will perform the anime's second ending theme song "Unite." Misawa's debut CD featuring the ending theme song will go on sale on August 1. Misawa voices the character Kuroyukihime in the Accel World series. She has also voiced roles in Shangri-La, Yumeiro Pâtissière, and Yumeiro Pâtissière SP Professional.
The series adapts Reki Kawahara's original science-fiction light novel series of the same name. The two-cours (two-quarter or half-year) anime premiered on April 6. Viz Media is streaming the series on its website and on Hulu in the U.S.
