Valhalla Knights, Senran Kagura, Muramasa Heading to PS Vita

Japan's Marvelous AQL announced during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference on Wednesday that it will release Valhalla Knights 3, Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus -Shōjo-tachi no Shōmei-, and Oboro Muramasa on the handheld PlayStation Vita system next year. Valhalla Knights 3 will arrive early next year for 6,980 yen (about US$89), Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus on February 28 for 6,980 yen, and Oboro Muramasa on March 28 for 4,980 yen (about US$63).

[Via 0takomu] Update: Sony opened the press conference by confirming a newer PlayStation 3 console that is about 20% smaller and 25% lighter than the current slim PlayStation 3. The 250-gigabyte model will ship on September 25 for US$269, while the 500-gigabyte model will ship on October 10 for US$299. The 250-gigabyte model will initially be available in a bundle with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: Game of the Year Edition and a voucher for over $30 worth of bonus digital content for the game Dust 514. The 500-gigabyte model will be available in conjunction with Assassin's Creed III.

The PlayStation Vita is getting two new Japanese colors — Cosmic Red and Sapphire Blue — and a new manga reader app.
