The Japanese public television broadcaster NHK announced the artist lineup for this year's Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle), the New Year's Eve singing contest that is Japan's most viewed music television program.

This year's lineup includes the fourth consecutive performance of Nana Mizuki and the first appearances of Momoiro Clover Z, SKE48, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Princess Princess, YUI, YUKI, KANJANI Eight, Golden Bomber, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, Naoto Inti Raymi, and Akihiro Miwa. Maki Horikita and Arashi are the hosts for the Red and White Teams, respectively.

The NHK-General channel will run the program from 7:15 to 11:45 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
