[We're slowly finishing the backlog after taking care of Anime Contents Expo coverage and the new Spring anime season.]

Anime, manga, and software studios marked April 1 with a slew of April Fool's spoofs and jokes. Here are more of those that have cropped up this year - click on the thumbnail images to see the original!

7th Dragon 2020-II

The new game changes scenery and moves from Tokyo to Okinawa.


The God Eater developer is now Enoshima Games, a game studio for cat lovers (an apparent nod to the Enoshima cat virus incident.)

Silent Hill

Shizuoka Prefecture has been renamed Silent Hill Prefecture. (The Japanese kanji characters for Shizuoka literally means "silent hill.")


Nitroplus takes a break from Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi. to tell fans that SonicoShock Infinity is still coming out … next year.

Starry Sky

The "HoneyQlo" (a pun on Starry Sky's publisher Honeybee and the clothing retailer Uniqlo) store will sell "stylish suits" and clothes worn by the characters in the game.
