If the 2013 anime Yama no Susume has piqued an interest in hoofing it up jagged mountain peaks, Ishii Sports Group is here for you. The Japanese sporting gear firm announced on August 20 that it is developing a line of hiking gear based on the looks sported by the girls of the anime. The exact details haven't been confirmed yet, and it will take some time — one item is scheduled per month, for a total of five, so the last item won't be unveiled until December. (The first item will be announced "shortly.") In the meantime, Ishii has released this image, showing the four mountaineering styles it plans to incorporate into its clothing line: (from left to right) trail running, light trekking, trekking and long-distance backpacking.
Yama no Susume is based on a manga by Shiro and is currently airing its second season. The first season can be seen on Crunchyroll.
