Hello Kitty's latest cosplay adventure is Rurouni Kenshin—namely, title character Himura Kenshin and his rival Shishio Makoto.
The product tie-in corresponds to the release of Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends (Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen), which opens across Japan on September 13. Special goods featuring this crossover will be available for purchase at theaters screening the film.
The Legend Ends is the third installment of the Rurouni Kenshin live-action film series. The second, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen), is the highest grossing Japanese live-action film of 2014 thus far.
