Terra Formars' Adolf Reinhard Comes to Life in New Shiseido Ad Campaign

Shiseido creative director, hair, and make-up artist Tadashi Harada has turned his skills to bringing Terra Formars' character Adolf Reinhard to life in a new ad campaign. The character is one of the few from the series who doesn't gain his powers from an insect, instead harnessing the abilities of the electric eel.
This is Harada's second collaboration with Terra Formars manga writer and artist Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana. Harada collaborated with them last year to create an ad starring the character Michelle K. Davis.
The group got together again to create the Adolf Reinhard image in conjunction with the release of Terra Formars volume 13 on Tuesday. The ads, as well as Harada's previous work to create JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Jolyne Cujoh, will be on display in two locations at the Tokyo Metro Ginza Station until May 24. A booklet featuring Harada's work will also be available at Shiseido beauty salons.
