Group Recreates Mr. Osomatsu Opening Sequence in Live-Action

The group Kusarine Project took on the daunting task of shooting a live-action recreation of Mr. Osomatsu's second opening sequence. The video is shot using as little animation as possible and quickly gained popularity with 80,000 views on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube combined. The side-by-side comparison video with the original opening also has about 10,000 views.
The parody video is dubbed "Rabumatsu-san" (Mr. Lovematsu).
The opening theme song ""Zenryoku Batankyū," ranked #2 in the Oricon singles chart for the February 8-14 week. The single shipped on February 10 and sold 25,000 copies in its first week. The idol group AŌP (Ace of Diamond, Insufficient Direction) performed the song.
The Kusarine Project previously recreated the opening to School-Live! and danced along with UtaPri.
