Watch Yuri!!! on Ice Character Designer Draw Phichit

Much of the of the Yuri!!! on Ice fandom centers around Victor and Yūri, followed by Yuri and Otabek, but fans also have a special place in their heart for Yūri's former skating club member and fountain of purity Phichit Chulanont. Series character designer Mitsurou Kubo showed the Thai skater some love earlier this month when she drew the character at Paris' Japan Expo. She then uploaded a video of the drawing on Twitter on Monday.

Even though the video is only 16 seconds, the image itself took Kubo hours to complete.

She also recently shared drawings of Emil and Seung. Both characters had birthdays within the last two months.

Yuri!!! on Ice has become a best-selling phenomenon since the series first aired last October. Its Blu-ray and DVD sales are top-sellers for the first half of 2017, as is its related CDs and the franchise as a whole. The series has a new anime film greenlit.
