Watch 56-Foot Goku Balloon Take His Test Flight Before the Big Day

This year Goku is joining the ranks of some of the biggest balloons to fly high during Macy's 92nd Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 22. The inflatable Super Saiyan is 56-feet tall and will soar with Pikachu, the Red Ranger and 13 other giant character balloons. Staff at Toei Animation and Macy's Studio Artists worked hard to capture the hero's look from the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. In order to make sure Goku is in tip-top shape before the big day, he joined his fellow balloon ambassadors on a test flight.

Goku's handlers have to work together closely to make sure the balloon flies smoothly down the parade route. Funimation shared a shorter clip showing staff hustle against oncoming winds. Let's hope the weather is agreeable in Manhattan on Thanksgiving Day.

The parade will air live on Thanksgiving Day on November 22. If you want to catch a glimpse of Goku on the go, Verizon's YouTube page will host a live stream starting at 9 a.m. EST until noon.
