Newtype opens English website

Yorito Shiraishi, the editor-in-chief of Newtype Magazine, has announced the opening of Newtype's English language website.
Newtype Magazine is one of (debatably *THE*) leading Japanese Anime mangazines and is available in North America as an import at various Anime and Japanese Pop Culture shops. Newtype magazine is published in Japanese only, so this is the first time fans who can not read Japanese will be able to get Newtype information directly from the source.
The first issue of Newtype "English mode" was "released" on July 21st 2000. Highlights include an interview with Mamoru Oshii and Hiroyuki Okiura (the creators of Jin-Roh) as well as short articles on Love Hina and teh Gate Keepers as well as the methods used to create the amazing CG movie sequences in the Tekken 3 video game.
