Spirited Away Breathing its Last

Spirited Away's re-release, caused by its Oscar success, is wheezing to a close. Down to 47 theaters nationwide, Miyazaki's film pulled in a scant $25,972 last weekend. As a whole, its release was a relative success, pulling in almost $10 million. Spirited Away is the fourth highest grossing anime in America, behind only the first three Pokémon films.
